Youth Team Manager: Tim Ryan
Tim Ryan was appointed City's youth team manager in November 2018.
Originally from Stockport, Ryan, 46, has previously worked as assistant-manager at Buxton, Stalybridge Celtic, and Chester.
Ryan also had a playing career with over 200 appearances for Doncaster Rovers (2000-2006) and over 100 appearances for Southport (1997-2000).
Head of Youth Development: Dan Wilson
Dan Wilson was appointed Head of Youth Development in summer 2018 after nearly two years working for the club.
Born in Middlesbrough, Dan had originally joined the club as an Under-9s coach but was promoted to Lead Foundation Phase Coach in July 2017.
Masters Degree graduate in Sports Coaching at Leeds Beckett University, Dan has expertise in skills acquisition and child development.
Youth Team Physio: Leyla Iqbal
Leyla is the designated physio for the U19s side and a recent University graduate.
Youth Team Coach: Steve Dorey
Steve was a part-time Academy coach with the club from 2012 – 2017 before returning to the club full-time in 2020. He holds the FA UEFA 'A' Licence, FA Advanced Youth Award (YDP) and an MSc in Sports Coaching from Leeds Beckett University.
Steve also holds part-time roles with The FA as a Talent Reporter, reporting on players eligible for national team selection from U17 to U21 level, and as a Coach Developer, supporting coaches to achieve Level 1, 2, and 3 (UEFA B) qualifications.
