20-year-old Spratt started his career with Manchester United U18s before joining Huddersfield Town U23s in 2018.
The centre half, who can also play at left-back, signed for City in summer 2019 and impressed on loan with Scarborough Athletic later in the season. He was offered a new deal at the end of the 2019/20 season.
