Monks Cross Shopping Park in City partnership

York City Football Club is delighted to announce that a new partnership deal has been agreed with Monks Cross Shopping Park for the forthcoming 2018/19 season.

The partnership will see the Shopping Park appear as back-of-the-shirt sponsors on the club's new Under Armour kit.

With both Monks Cross and York City entering a period of rejuvenation, the newly formed partnership makes perfect sense. 

Summer 2018 will see the start of a series of on-site changes at Monks Cross to grow its retailer offer and enhance its shopper experience.

Katherine Sharp, Centre Manager for Monks Cross Shopping Park, said: "We are delighted to announce our partnership with York City Football Club for the 2018-19 season. 

"As we move into the first phase of a new period for Monks Cross, strengthening bonds with our soon-to-be neighbour was of key importance to us. We look forward to seeing the new stadium continue to take shape, alongside the exciting developments at Monks Cross."

Nick Greatrex, the clubs' Head of Partnerships, said: "We are really pleased to welcome Monks Cross Shopping Park as a club partner.

"We now look forward to working together closely during our emotional final season at Bootham Crescent and also in the future at our new home in the community stadium at Monks Cross. I would also like to thank Buildbase for their support last season."
