Raring To Go Store - York City Announce New Major Sponsor

6th September 2019

York City Football Club has agreed a new back of shirt sponsorship deal with Go Store Self Storage Ltd.

The partnership will see York’s brand-new purpose-built self storage facility adorn the back of the Minstermen’s first team shirts and become a primary sponsor of the club, with the deal lasting a minimum of two years.

Go Store will open for business in Monks Cross in the next few weeks. You can find the self storage facility on Monks Cross Drive between McDonalds and Taco Bell, by the Monks Cross Shopping Park.

Providing clean, dry, safe and secure storage with round-the-clock CCTV and monitored alarms, Go Store offers private storage rooms from the size of a telephone box to a tennis court.

If you are looking for Personal or Business Storage please send them an E-Mail at york@gostore.co.uk or call 01904 215 990 to register your interest or pre-book space.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Rory Windham, Director and Co-Owner of Go Store Self Storage Ltd said, “This is the next stage in Go Store’s evolution as we look to cement our position in the region and increase our market awareness.“

“We are extremely proud to be in a position to support the local football club and soon-to-be neighbour at Monks Cross. We hope York City can continue their successful start to the season.”

Commercial Manager of York City Football Club, Chris Pegg, added: “We are delighted to welcome Go Store Self Storage Ltd as the Club's new back of shirt sponsor and are proud that our iconic Y-Front shirts will carry the Go Store logo.”

“New to York, Go Store is an ambitious, customer-orientated business with a fantastic team behind it and we are very much looking forward to a successful partnership, working on a number of engaging initiatives together.”

The Go Store logo will feature on the matchday shirts worn by the Minstermen, and although the replica kits (which can be purchased in-store and online) won’t feature the decal, there will be an opportunity for fans to get the Go Store branding printed onto their shirts in the coming weeks.

Further statements and images of the matchday shirts will be published in due course.
