Kempster on loan to Spennymoor

Forward Alex Kempster has today joined Vanarama National League North side Spennymoor Town on loan until January.

Kempster, 23, has started only three league games this season and was sidelined for two months after suffering a leg injury against Alfreton Town in August.

Manager Sam Collins said: "It's important for Alex to go out and play games and get some confidence and consistency. When I first started in the job, he was out injured and he now finds himself down the pecking order.

"He needs to go out and play and, hopefully, when he comes back, we will benefit from it."
