'Junior Volunteer Day' at Crescent
York City will be staging a 'Junior Volunteer Day' when Blyth Spartans visit Bootham Crescent on Bank Holiday Monday August 27.
The event will offer younger supporters (aged 7-11 years) a rare opportunity to play a matchday role at Bootham Crescent.
Do you want to help the matchday announcer by introducing the teams? Or sell 50-50 tickets and match programmes to supporters? Perhaps assist the groundstaff in preparing the pitch before kick-off? Or help out with media duties or stewarding?
This offer is open ONLY to junior season ticket members and those invited to take part will need to be accompanied by a full-paying adult at all times.
Anyone interested should email sportingdirector@yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk with the following details:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Junior Season Ticket number
- Preferred matchday role (choose from one of the following - PA announcer, 50-50/Programme seller, assistant-groundstaff, matchday steward, pressbox assistant)

- What do you want to be when you grow up?
The deadline for entries is 9am on Monday August 20.
