Hereford and Kettering games to be rearranged

York City Football Club can confirm that a player has tested positive for Covid-19.

The club put its Covid contingency plans into action quickly and sought guidance from the National League medical team.

Backroom staff and players across the First Team and Youth Team, along with some office staff, will self-isolate until 1st November and the club will seek to reschedule all games that fall within that period of time.

This impacts this Saturday's trip to Hereford and the home fixture against Kettering on the 31st October. Both will be rearranged at a date TBC.

Will the offices be open/Can I ring the offices?

A member of staff will be in the club offices to answer any phone enquiries. Some staff are working from home and will only have access to email. Please click here to see a staff list with more information.

Is the Academy and the Foundation still operating?

Yes, the club has put its Covid contingency plans in place which includes a risk assessment on all areas of the club. The Academy and Foundation have not been impacted and therefore can continue to operate with careful monitoring.

Can I still order items from the Online Store?

Yes, orders can still be placed via www.ycfcstore.co.uk.

When will the Club Shop reopen?

The Club Shop at Bootham Crescent is closed until further notice and will reopen after the club's period of isolation.

I made an order via the Online store - when will I receive it?

It is likely that there will be a delay in fulfilling orders and we thank fans in advance for their patience.

Orders for Delivery (including ALL pre-ordered shirts) will be sent out as soon as possible and orders for Click-and-Collect will be available for collection once the Club Shop reopens.

I would like my Click-and-Collect order to be delivered instead, what can I do?

There is a Delivery item listed on the Online Store, using the same Name and E-Mail from the original order please purchase this item and it will change your recent order from click-and-collect to delivery.

I have ordered a programme for a match that will be rearranged - what should I do?

Supporters who have already purchased a match programme for the Kettering home game will receive their order for the rearranged game instead. If you'd like your order to be cancelled, please contact clubshop@yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk.
