Buxton signs until end of season

By Dan Simmonite | 3rd March 2020

Adam Buxton has signed on a loan deal from League Two side Morecambe until the end of the season.

Naturally a right-sided full back, the versatile defender can play on the left or in a central role.

The 27-year-old started his career at Wigan Athletic in the Premier League before spells with Accrington Stanley, Portsmouth and Tranmere Rovers – where he played alongside current captain Steve McNulty in 2017.

He signs from The Shrimps where he has played 13 times this season, scoring one goal.

Buxton is eligible for tonight’s game against Hereford.
