Club Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist

Main Role:

  • To provide musculoskeletal assessment; treatment; rehabilitation; exercise prescription and appropriate referral to the clubs playing staff. Playing staff are inclusive of the first team and youth teams (16-18’s).
  • To provide emergency aid at first team games. Youth team games may be required as emergency cover.  
  • To work within the scope and practice outlined by York City Football Club’s Medical & Sports Science policy and within your own professional regulatory body codes of practice.
  • To contribute to and promote a positive and professional working environment when working with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • To liaise/report with the wider multidisciplinary team and senior club management team.
  • To support playing staff post-emergency situations and at private external consultations.
  • To record, report, and complete all administrative duties associated with the role of a lead practitioner within the club.
  • To contribute to your own personal continued professional development, in accordance with the needs of your regulatory body and the needs of the role at the club.

Salary dependant on experience.
