Club Agrees Terms With Jake Hyde

York City Football Club is pleased to announce a new addition to Nigel Worthington’s playing squad ahead of the new season.

The Club has agreed personal terms with 23 year-old striker Jake Hyde to become a York City player on a three year contract.

Jake, who is from Maidenhead, began his career at Swindon Town and, after a spell in Scotland with Dundee, has spent the last two seasons at Conference Premier side Barnet. Last season he made 27 appearances for the London club, scoring 12 goals. He is also an England C international, making an appearance against Latvia last September.

As Jake is under 24 years of age, a compensation payment will be due to Barnet Football Club.

We would like to welcome Jake Hyde to York City and hope he enjoys his time with the club.
