Boro Boy Returns To Crescent

This afternoon York City received a boost to our playing squad with the return of Middlesbrough winger Ryan Brobbel on loan until the end of the season.

Ryan, who has just turned 21 years old, made 12 appearances for The Minstermen earlier in the season, scoring three goals including a memorable volley in the home game against Scunthorpe United.

About Ryan's return to the club, York City Manager Nigel Worthington said: "I'm delighted to get Ryan in. Since we've lost Josh, it will give us more strength in the wide areas plus numbers and bodies as well."

Ryan will go straight into the squad for Saturday's Sky Bet League 2 home game with Burton Albion wearing number 27.

We would like to welcome Ryan back to the Crescent!
