Under-18s aiming for fifth straight victory...
YORK City’s Under-18s will look to make it five Youth Alliance League wins in a row when they welcome fellow in-form side Chesterfield to Wigginton Road on Saturday.
The match, which kicks off at 11:00, will see two of the division’s most in form outfits go head-to-head with the Minstermen knowing a win could see them move up to third in the league.
However, Chesterfield come into this fixture on the back of three straight victories of their own and this mid-table clash has much at stake as both sides look to break into the top three in the coming week.
For City, is the first of two successive home games with the rearranged midweek fixture against Mansfield Town now being moved to Wednesday April 19th.
Gabriel McGill will be looking to keep his place in the side having scored the winner last time out as the Young Minstermen won 1-0 against Notts County last week.
The reverse fixture saw City run out 2-0 winners in North Derbyshire earlier in the season.
Harry Thompson may sit out with a gash suffered to his leg in the Notts County victory. Left-sided player Noah Jackson is also a doubt after taking a knock in midweek, while Tyler Walton and Sam Fielding may come back into the fold unless needed again by the First Team.
Admission is free for all spectators wishing to attend at Wigginton Road.
