Works Party to be formed...

YORK City is asking its supporters to volunteer to help clean up Bootham Crescent immediately after the FA Trophy Quarter-Final against Brackley Town on Saturday 25th February, in order to help the groundstaff prepare for a rugby fixture the following day.

On Sunday 26th February, York City Knights will face Egremont Rangers at Bootham Crescent in the third round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, and we would like to form a Works Party after the game the previous day to create as clean and enjoyable environment as possible for both sets of rugby fans.

If you are interested in helping, please register your interest by emailing Supporter Liaison Officer, Phil Howden at slo@yorkcityfootballclub.co.uk.

The Works Party will gather near the groundsman’s shed by the David Longhurst exit gate, and volunteers will be provided with bin bags and litter pickers. The clean-up is expected to take around an hour, depending on numbers.

Your help would be very much appreciated.
