The Billy Fenton Memorial Clubman of the Year Award

Clubman of the Year
Towards the end of each season, the fans of York City Football Club are asked to vote for their Clubman of the Year.
 
The winner of the vote receives the Billy Fenton Memorial Trophy which is in memory of legendary City player Billy Fenton, and the award has been presented through the decades by Billy's widow Margot. The award has just celebrated it's 40th year at the end of the 2012/13 season when the winner was Daniel Parslow for a record third time.
 
The voting criteria for selecting the winner of the award is based on three aspects:
 
1 - Sportsmanship;
2 - Effort on the field of play;
3 - Ability
